Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. If you have a passion for community service and love being on the move, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels on your route. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van, walk parts of the route, and ensure items reach their destinations safely while maintaining high

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, driving a Royal Mail van and walking parts of the route.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items.
• Provide exceptional service and represent Royal Mail in the community.
