Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you'll deliver letters and parcels across your community, combining driving routes with on-foot deliveries.

The role keeps you active outdoors, with shifts starting early and varying through the day. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail, delivering reliably in all weather and ensuring items reach their destinations safely.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts vary and require adaptability at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, come rain or shine.
• Drive a Royal Mail van with some parts of the route done on foot.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure items reach their destinations safely.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain items in line with standards.
