Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible Post Persons with Driving to deliver letters and parcels within their local community. You will drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot, providing excellent service across all weather conditions.

This temporary role involves walking, outdoor work, and a driving assessment at start; the pay varies by shift and is designed to reflect the different time windows and workloads.

Qualifications

• Must have a full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be physically able to walk ~20,000 steps per day and lift items up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area in all weather.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Ensure items reach customers securely and handle election materials as required.
