Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you will deliver letters and parcels on your round, combining van travel with on-foot delivering to serve your community with pride.

Passing a driving assessment is required. Roles offer varied shifts and outdoor activity, ideal for active people who value community service and flexible work.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your delivery round.
• Travel by van and on foot to complete parts of your route while providing a high level of service.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and restricted items in line with Royal Mail standards.
