Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will drive a Royal Mail van on your route and walk segments to complete deliveries, staying active throughout the day.

The role combines driving and on-foot delivery, with important responsibilities around secure handling of items. Shifts vary, offering flexible working patterns and a chance to serve communities daily.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• As a Post Person with Driving, you'll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels by driving and by foot as required.
• You will drive your round and ensure secure delivery, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
