Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be on the move, delivering letters and parcels across your area while staying active and serving your community.

The role combines driving a Royal Mail van with walking portions of your route, and requires a full UK manual driving licence with minimal points. Shifts vary, so flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Walk 20,000 steps a day, exit/enter van regularly, carry mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; team players needed who adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.
• Drive round your delivery area, with parts of the route completed on foot, providing exceptional service.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including handling election materials and certain items per Royal Mail standards.
