Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels with a focus on service and safety.

A valid UK driving licence with up to 6 points and the ability to walk daily are essential. Shifts vary across day, dawn, early, evening, and night slots with pay rates shown on the rate card.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; need to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as the face of Royal Mail in your community.
• Drive your delivery route and complete parts of it on foot, ensuring safe delivery.
• Securely deliver all items on your route in line with Royal Mail standards.
