Job summary

VolkerWessels is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to drive commercial outcomes across construction projects in the UK. You will own costs, protect margins, and maximise value while managing risk and cultivating strong client and supply chain relationships.

The role requires on-site measurement experience, professional accreditation (RICS/CIOB/ICES), and the ability to work under pressure. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-profile civil and building projects.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Build projects.
• Experience of onsite measures.
• NEC3 Option A form of contract and subcontract conditions.
• JCT Design & Build and JCT Standard Building Contract experience.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of costs and maximise project value.
• Manage risk and deliver projects profitably and efficiently.
• Build strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
• Ensure projects are delivered from start to finish.
