Job summary

VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on one or more projects in the Warrington/Macclesfield area. You will manage the commercial team, review contracts, assess risk, and drive value through pre- and post-construction activities.

The role requires a senior QS background with RICS/CIOB/ICES accreditation or a QS degree with relevant experience. A competitive benefits package is offered alongside career development.

Qualifications

• An accredited course by RICS/CIOB/ICES.
• Engineering Surveyors ICES advantageous.
• A degree in QS with relevant experience obtained (Essential).
• HND subjects include building/construction, urban and land studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the commercial team on projects to ensure successful delivery.
• Review main contract conditions, assess risk and scope areas.
• Review sub-contract packages for incorporation into tenders.
• Produce procurement schedules and ensure tender handover clarity.
• Provide support to post-construction reviews and final accounts.
