VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities across multiple projects. You will oversee all commercial and contractual aspects, guiding the wider commercial team to achieve objectives and maximize project gains.

The role requires site visits with flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance. Experience with NEC contracts is essential and progression toward a Commercial Manager role is outlined.

Formación

• Adequate experience as a Managing QS.
• Essential degree in Quantity Surveying.
• RICS/CIOB accredited course is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Review main contract conditions, assess risk and scope.
• Review subcontract packages for main tender inclusion.
• Provide tender input and assist the bid team.
• Lead pre-construction procurement planning and handover.
• Administer subcontracts and support dispute mitigation.
• Maintain client relationships and manage cash flow forecasts.
• Complete post-contract reviews and final accounts.

Conocimientos

Adequate experience as a Managing QS

Confident leader and communicator

Knowledgeable in NEC contracts

Educación

Degree in QS

RICS/CIOB accredited course
