Qualifications

• Demonstrable vehicle workshop experience required.
• LGV licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workshop operation and maintain vehicle fleet.
• Liaise with distribution manager for planned vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure vehicle compliance with safety and legislative standards.
• Organise MOT preparation and manage vehicle records.

Skills

Familiarity with common Microsoft Applications

Competent at vehicle diagnostics

Understanding of DoT operating methods and procedures

Knowledge of bulk tanker pressure systems

Education

GSCE educated, with grade C or above in mathematics and English

City & Guilds in Motor Vehicle Engineering or equivalent

Certificate of professional competence in Road Transport
