A leading supply chain management organization is seeking a skilled Fleet & Plant Operations Technician to manage vehicle operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and support waste management activities. The role is based in St Helens and requires a full UK driving license. Candidates should have GCSE qualifications in Maths and English, experience managing commercial fleets, and knowledge of compliance requirements. This position offers a full-time, office-based employment with additional responsibilities in operational support.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fleet & Plant Operations Technician to join our Supply Chain team at HMS, part of Torus Group. This is a hands‑on, operational role supporting the management of our fleet, plant, and waste activities across the organisation. You will play a key role in ensuring all vehicles, plant, and waste operations are safe, compliant, fit for purpose, and deliver value for money.
Full UK driving licence and company van will be provided. This is a full‑time, office‑based role, predominantly located at our Sutton Fold office in St Helens, with travel required to our Stonebridge office and various site visits.
