Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Fleet Controller to join its Fleet team in managing the vehicle fleet, servicing, defects and breakdowns, ensuring SLA performance and minimal downtime. You will liaise with suppliers, update systems and support the fleet desk while maintaining a safe working environment.

The role requires proactive teamwork, strong planning, excellent customer service and familiarity with fleet software; heavy and light vehicle knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have problem solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of workshop practices and charges is an advantage.
• Industry knowledge of light & heavy commercial vehicle industry.
• Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach.
• Must recognise the importance of working as part of a team to deliver service and operational performance within a safe working environment.
• IT skills, Microsoft Word and Excel would be an advantage.
• Previous experience of fleet management software packages would be an advantage (Jaama Key2 in particular).

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Vehicle suppliers to ensure all orders are processed in line with agreed SLA’s.
• Handle vehicle service, defect and breakdown requests following company procedures and guidelines, ensuring minimal disruption to internal customers / contracts.
• Ensure SLA’s are achieved with minimum downtime.
• Investigate and respond to Internal customer / External Supplier Queries.
• Update fleet management systems.
• Assist in general fleet desk duties, providing support when needed for other aspects of the fleet department
