Confidential in Warrington is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to support a busy fleet operation. You will coordinate day-to-day vehicle defects, maintenance and availability across a mixed fleet of HGVs, trailers, cars and vans, working closely with drivers, maintenance providers and the wider fleet team.

The role requires proven coordination and scheduling experience, strong organisational skills, and good IT skills (FMS or similar).

Qualificações

• Experience in coordination, scheduling, logistics administration or similar role.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using an FMS, transport management system or similar software.
• Proficient Microsoft Office and Windows skills.
• Ability to stay calm and proactive in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate day-to-day vehicle defect management across the fleet.
• Manage Vehicle Off Road (VOR) events from escalation to resolution.
• Escalate safety-critical defects and ground vehicles as required.
• Monitor driver walkaround checks and follow up on missed submissions.
• Triage defects and arrange repairs with external suppliers.
• Book vehicles into and out of workshops for unplanned maintenance.
• Maintain defect, repair and supplier records in the FMS.
• Serve as first point of contact for drivers with fleet queries.
• Liaise daily with maintenance suppliers on progress, ETAs and returns.
• Escalate issues affecting service levels and support the wider fleet team with incident data.
