Axis CLC Group is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Controller to lead strategic maintenance programs across our national fleet. You will partner with senior leadership, suppliers, and operations to optimise performance, control costs, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires overseeing scheduling, repairs, and downtime management, while driving continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives to boost reliability and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale fleet maintenance operations.
• Strong cost control, budgeting and procurement skills.
• Experience implementing fleet compliance and accreditation programs.

Responsabilités

• Oversee maintenance scheduling for all company vehicles and long-term hires.
• Coordinate repairs with external providers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Lead breakdown response strategies and minimise downtime.
• Negotiate and manage supplier SLAs for value-driven partnerships.
• Ensure fleet accreditation and regulatory compliance across the fleet.
• Oversee tyre and maintenance component procurement and cost control.
• Implement defect monitoring and preventative maintenance to reduce risk.
