Stobart (Part of the Culina Group) seeks an Operational Accountant to join the finance team, supporting fleet and operational functions with financial insight and performance analysis. You will collaborate with operational leaders to drive informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

This role suits a qualified, part-qualified, or qualified-by-experience accountant who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and influencing business outcomes in logistics.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting, operational accounting or finance business partnering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
• Experience preparing management accounts, forecasts and budgets.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly fleet P&L accounts with variance analysis.
• Produce fleet performance reports for decision-making and financial control.
• Develop fleet, asset and R&M reporting with insights for the business.
• Reconcile fleet assets across systems and support asset lifecycle management.
