PDT Fleet Training Solutions is recruiting Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to deliver a mix of classroom and on-road induction or upgrade courses at client premises across Great Britain.

Attend half- and full-day sessions, complete accurate assessments promptly, and advance driver safety. Flexible diary management and nationwide assignments are available.

Qualifications

• Accreditation as an ADI Fleet Trainer or LGV NIR registration is desirable.
• Proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training.
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles (upskill training available).
• Professional delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Laptop and printer provided for course materials.

This contract role seeks a Fleet Driver Trainer in Leicester, offering £150 per day. Working with PDT Fleet Training Solutions, the successful candidate delivers classroom and on-road induction or upgrade courses to prestigious clients across Great Britain.

Duties include half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions in category B vehicles, mostly vans, at client premises. Half-day courses last four hours. Trainers must complete accurate assessment reports promptly.

Applicants need strong communication, observational skills, and relevant driving instruction experience. The position suits qualified instructors, assessors, or coaches seeking freelance work with a growing provider of fleet driver training, with assignments available at multiple locations nationwide.

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Key responsibilities

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Skills and experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
