Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers to deliver on-site driver induction and upgrade courses at multiple locations across Great Britain. You will conduct half- and full-day sessions in category B vehicles, and promptly complete assessment reports for clients.

Ideal candidates may hold ADI Fleet Trainer accreditation or be listed on the LGV National Instructors Register, with strong communication and presentation skills and a proactive training approach.

Qualifications

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
