PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers to deliver a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses across Great Britain. The role suits experienced instructors or assessors who can travel to client sites and manage a diary with flexible days.

You will deliver 4-hour half-day and full-day sessions using category B vehicles, primarily vans, and provide timely evaluation reports while engaging with prestigious clients as part of a freelance

This contract role as a Fleet Driver Trainer in Inverness offers £150 daily, suiting experienced driving instructors or assessors. The position involves delivering half and full-day coaching sessions, typically four hours for half-day courses, using category B vehicles, mainly vans, at client sites throughout Great Britain. Trainers conduct inductions and upgrade programmes, blending classroom tuition with practical on-road assessments.

Key duties include completing precise evaluation reports promptly after each session. Candidates must possess strong communication abilities, a solid grasp of road safety regulations, and relevant instruction experience. Flexibility to travel and work with various prestigious clients is essential for this freelance arrangement.

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer duties

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Desired skills and experience

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
