Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial is seeking a freelance Fleet Driver Trainer in Edinburgh on a contract basis. You will deliver classroom and on-road induction or upgrade courses to clients using category B vehicles (primarily vans). Sessions last four hours or a full day at client sites nationwide. You will coach, assess drivers and complete accurate reports promptly, with travel to various locations across Great Britain.

Qualifications

• Desirable ADI Fleet Trainer accreditation or LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Experience delivering driver training, including on electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client premises (category B).
• Complete timely and accurate assessment reports after sessions.
• Travel to client sites nationwide to conduct training.

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial seeks a Fleet Driver Trainer in Edinburgh on a contract basis, paying £150 daily. The role involves delivering classroom and on-road induction or upgrade courses to prestigious clients, primarily using category B vehicles such as vans. Sessions last either four hours or a full day, held at customer sites nationwide. Duties include coaching, assessing drivers, and completing accurate reports promptly. Candidates should hold relevant instruction or assessment experience and be willing to travel. This position suits freelance instructors seeking varied work with a growing training provider. PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Duties

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Skills & Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
• Have your own laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
