The role offers flexible days with rates of £105 for half-day and £210 for full-day, with travel to various sites and timely completion of assessment reports. Desirable accreditations include ADI Fleet Trainer or LGV NIR.

Responsibilities

About the role

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial seeks a Fleet Driver Trainer in Kettering on a contract basis, paying £150 per day. The successful candidate will deliver half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client premises, using category B vehicles, predominantly vans. Half-day courses last four hours. Duties include completing timely, accurate assessment reports after each session. Applicants should hold relevant driving qualifications and possess strong instructional and observational abilities. The working pattern involves travel to various client sites, so flexibility is essential. This position suits an experienced instructor or assessor who can work independently and communicate clearly with learners. Freelance trainers are needed at multiple locations across Great Britain. PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Responsibilities

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

Qualifications and experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
