Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to deliver blended classroom and on-road courses across Great Britain. Roles are freelance with flexible scheduling and client-site delivery on category B vehicles, primarily vans.

Successful candidates will conduct on-road assessments and inductions, with optional upskilling in electric vehicle training. Excellent communication and reporting are essential, and material is provided by PDT.

Qualifications

• Desirable ADI Fleet Trainer accreditation or LGV NIR registration.
• Experience delivering electric vehicle training.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client sites (category B vehicles, mostly vans).

This contract role as a Fleet Driver Trainer in Wareham offers £150 daily. The successful candidate delivers half and full-day coaching sessions, focusing on category B vehicles, primarily vans. Responsibilities include conducting on-road assessments and classroom inductions at client sites nationwide. Key skills involve accurate report writing, strong communication, and flexibility to travel. Working patterns vary, with half-day courses lasting four hours. This position suits experienced instructors or assessors seeking freelance work with a growing provider of fleet training solutions across Great Britain.

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
