Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is hiring Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to join a network delivering classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across Great Britain. You will train on category B vehicles, primarily vans, with flexible diary management and client-site delivery.

The role offers opportunities to work with prestigious clients, benefit from weekend/enhanced rates and fuel supplements, plus access to training CPD and 24/7 backup support.

Qualifications

• Desirable qualifications include an ADI Fleet Trainer accreditation or LGV NIR registration.
• Proactive approach to engaging and inclusive training with promotion of safe driving behaviours.
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill available).
• Professional delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises (category B vehicles).
• Prepare and complete accurate assessment reports in a timely manner.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

Benefits:

• Flexibility to choose which days you work (you will manage your diary).
• We offer £105 for half day courses and up to £210 for full day Monday-Friday.
