Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Assessors to join our team at client sites across Great Britain, delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses.

Successful candidates will be paid per course (£105 half-day, up to £210 full-day) with flexible diary management, weekend options, fuel supplements, and 24/7 backup support. Experience with ADI/NIR is preferred and training on electric vehicles is available.

Qualifications

• Accredited as an ADI Fleet Trainer or LGV National Instructors Register (NIR) member preferred.
• Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive training with a focus on positive driver behaviours.
• Willingness to deliver courses on electric vehicles and adapt to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client premises.
• Complete accurate assessment reports in a timely manner.
• Present professional, safe driving training using PowerPoint presentations.

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
