Job summary

Konecranes is recruiting a Fleet Controller to join our Ashby team. This role manages day-to-day fleet operations, procurement, compliance and reporting to optimise vehicle use, costs and risk.

You will drive policy implementation and collaborate with suppliers, drivers and operational teams. The ideal candidate has experience in fleet management, strong analytical and stakeholder skills, and a proactive approach to sustainability and EV transition.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet management, fleet administration, transport, procurement or vehicle operations.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, highly organised.
• Experience managing suppliers and external service providers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet records for owned, leased and hired vehicles.
• Manage vehicle orders, deliveries, disposals, and short-term hires.
• Coordinate allocations and maintain driver/vehicle documentation.
• Support fleet policy implementation and administration.
• Ensure statutory compliance (MOTs, tax, servicing) and audits.
• Liaise with leasing, service providers, fuel cards and insurers.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive cost reductions.
• Produce fleet performance reports and dashboards.
• Support EV adoption and fleet sustainability initiatives.
• Provide driver guidance and contribute to inductions.
