Job summary

St Elizabeth’s in Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Advisor for an initial six-month period. The role is on-site with flexible options for full-time, part-time or consultancy arrangements.

You’ll design and deliver engaging training, facilitate face-to-face and blended learning across diverse teams, work with managers to identify learning needs, and ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering training, workshops or learning programmes.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage with colleagues and managers at all levels.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems and digital learning tools.
• Recognised training qualification (CIPD Level 3 or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging mandatory, refresher and developmental learning across St Elizabeth’s.
• Facilitate face-to-face and blended learning for colleagues in a wide variety of roles.
• Deliver areas such as Safeguarding, First Aid, Manual Handling and Health & Safety, where appropriately qualified.
• Work directly with managers and teams to understand learning needs and turn them into practical solutions.
• Support learning compliance across our regulated services, including CQC, Ofsted and HSE requirements.
• Help develop learning resources, systems and training records.
• Evaluate what’s working, challenge what isn’t and bring forward new ideas.
• Play an active part in building a culture where learning, development and continuous improvement are part of everyday life.
