Job summary

DHL Coalville is seeking a Day Shift Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations on a 37.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, day shifts. Based in Coalville, you will lead a team, streamline processes, ensure safety compliance, monitor performance metrics, and foster collaboration to achieve KPIs and service excellence.

We a looking for Day Shift Manager to work for a new exciting contract / customer for DHL.

• Lead the Team: Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership will inspire and motivate our team to reach new heights!
• Streamline Processes: Implement innovative strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency in our warehouse
• Ensure Safety: Uphold the highest safety standards and compliance regulations, creating a safe and secure workplace for everyone.
• Monitor Performance: Track key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed our goals.
• Foster Collaboration: Build a strong team culture that values communication, accountability and teamwork. Together, we'll achieve great results!

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Have strong operational knowledge of logistics and warehousing
• Have a strategic mindset and a passion for problem-solving.
• You're a natural leader with excellent communication skills, able to inspire and engage your team
• Has worked for a start up contract ( Desirable)
• Happy to work Days shift Mon- Friday
• Well versed in HR processed at an FLM Level
