Job summary

PSR Solutions is recruiting a Managing Director for its fire protection division in Essex. You will own P&L, shape the commercial strategy, and lead the SLT to deliver profitable growth across frameworks and long-term client relationships.

You will drive revenue growth while maintaining margins, cash discipline and compliant operations. This hands-on leadership role requires deep fire protection expertise and a proven track record in senior management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience within fire protection (passive, active, suppression or fire compliance).
• Proven experience managing a P&L and delivering profitable growth.
• Strong understanding of margins, cost control, cash flow, working capital and commercial risk.
• Demonstrated track record of winning profitable work with favorable commercial and payment terms.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of P&L, margins, cash flow and overall financial performance.
• Develop and execute a commercial strategy to win new frameworks and contracts.
• Drive revenue growth with demand for profitable work and strong terms.
• Ensure cash collection and working capital discipline to translate profit into cash.
• Control costs and resource usage while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Lead and develop the Senior Leadership Team to high performance.
• Build relationships across FM, housing associations, public sector and commercial clients.
• Identify opportunities to expand services (passive fire remediation, fire stopping, maintenance).
• Ensure continued compliance with BAFE, IFC and BS 9999.
