Job summary

Hall & Kay is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to grow the Fire Protection/Detection business across London & South East. You will respond to opportunities, prospect new business, and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The role offers hybrid working with a mix of office, home, and client-site days, based at our London office. You will drive targets, develop forecasts, and present contractual paperwork to clients with a consultative sales approach.

Qualifications

• Proven Fire Detection/Protection sales experience.
• Technical, solution sales background.
• Consultative sales approach with knowledge of fire detection/protection systems.
• PC literacy with knowledge of Microsoft products.
• UK Driving License.
• Knowledge of Quality, Environmental Health and Safety directives including PPE, Accident Reporting, RAMS.
• Articulate with excellent communication and listening skills across multifunctional divisions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure Fire business from new and existing clients to meet sales targets.
• Respond to and track all allocated sales leads and prospects.
• Provide and maintain forecasts, prospect lists, quote bank and sales status reports.
• Maintain close relationships with key customers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Adhere to company processes, rules, regulations and policies.
• Carry out other sales duties as required by management.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and activity targets.
• Manage a pipeline of outstanding quotations to meet monthly targets.
• Target regional multi-site prospects within defined geographical area.
• Present contracts and paperwork to prospective clients.
• Attend meetings, tele-appointment sessions and training as required.
