Hall & Kay in Birmingham is seeking two Business Development Managers to join our expanding team, specialising in Fire & Security Detection solutions in the Midlands.

You will drive sustainable growth by identifying opportunities, forging new relationships with clients and partners, and delivering consistently against sales targets while working from a flexible mix of office, field and home-based arrangements.

Qualifications

• Proven track record selling security or fire detection solutions in B2B.
• Strong technical and solution-based sales background.
• Consultative, needs-based sales approach.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence for regional travel.
• Knowledge of Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety incl RAMS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities to meet targets.
• Respond promptly to sales leads with robust follow-up.
• Maintain forecasts, databases, pipelines and reporting.
• Build relationships with customers, contractors, specifiers and stakeholders.
• Prepare professional proposals and contracts tailored to requirements.
• Hit monthly and quarterly sales and activity objectives.
• Target regional and multi-site prospects in the Midlands.
• Participate in sales meetings and development activities.
• Comply with company processes, quality standards and HSE directives.
