Job summary

Hall & Kay is expanding in the Midlands and seeking two Business Development Managers to drive revenue in the Fire Detection and Security solutions space. The Birmingham role offers flexible working including field, office, and home-based activities.

We require proven B2B security/fire detection sales success, strong technical acumen, and a consultative selling approach. A full UK driving licence and regulatory knowledge are essential.”

Qualifications

• Proven track record in selling security systems or fire detection/protection solutions in B2B.
• Strong technical and solution-based sales background.
• Consultative, needs-based sales methodology.
• IT proficiency with MS Office and CRM platforms.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Regulatory knowledge including PPE, accident reporting, RAMS.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities.
• Respond promptly to sales leads and maintain follow-up to maximise conversions.
• Develop and maintain accurate forecasts, databases, proposals and sales reporting.
• Establish and nurture relationships with customers, contractors, specifiers and stakeholders.
• Prepare professional proposals and contracts tailored to client requirements.
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales and activity targets through effective pipeline management.
• Target regional and multi-site prospects within the Midlands area.
• Participate in regular sales meetings and training for ongoing development.
• Ensure compliance with company processes, quality standards and health and safety directives.
