Hall & Kay in Birmingham is seeking two Business Development Managers to drive growth across the Midlands in Fire Detection and Security solutions. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with clients, and expand the firm's footprint across multi-site projects.

The role offers flexible hybrid working from the Birmingham base, with field, office and home-based duties and a clear path to senior sales leadership. A proven B2B sales background in security or fire protection is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record selling security or fire detection solutions in a B2B environment.
• Strong consultative, needs-based sales methodology.
• IT proficiency with MS Office and CRM platforms.
• Full UK driving licence required for regional travel.
• Regulatory knowledge including QA, Environmental, Health and Safety requirements (RAMS).

Responsibilities

• Drive Revenue Growth: identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities to meet targets.
• Lead Management: respond to sales leads and maximize conversions.
• Sales Pipeline Management: maintain forecasts, databases, and quotation pipelines.
• Stakeholder Engagement: build relationships with customers, contractors and specifiers.
• Contract Preparation: tailor proposals and contract documentation to client needs.
• Performance Accountability: achieve monthly and quarterly sales objectives.
• Territory Development: target regional, multi-site prospects.
• Continuous Development: participate in training and development activities.
• Compliance: adhere to company processes, quality standards and safety directives.
