Qualifications

• Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) or equivalent professional body.
• Experience in offsite construction, MMC, modular construction or light gauge steel framing.
• Knowledge of façades, external wall systems and cladding technologies.
• Ability to ensure designs meet fire safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fire engineering assessments and provide expert guidance on building systems, façades, and product applications.
• Review designs, specifications, and construction details for fire safety compliance.
• Prepare technical reports, fire engineering assessments, and certification applications.
• Manage fire safety certification processes and maintain records.
• Carry out site and façade inspections, assessing fire performance and installation quality.
• Identify fire safety risks and non-conformities, with corrective actions.
• Support clients, contractors and project teams with technical queries.
• Drive innovation by implementing best practices and sustainable construction solutions.
• Ensure all designs and documentation meet safety and environmental requirements.
• Contribute to business development across the UK, Ireland, and international markets.
