Job summary

WSP is seeking a Fire Engineer to work on diverse UK projects, from universities to high-rise towers, with a pathway toward professional registration.

The role involves reviewing design information, coordinating with Facades, Acoustics and Structures, presenting designs to local authorities and the Fire Service, and advising on fire safety improvements while supporting your chartership journey.

Qualifications

• BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.

Responsibilities

• Review design information and coordinate with Facades, Acoustics and Structures.
• Present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.
• Advise the design team on changes to increase building safety.
