Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to join our UK studios. You will lead fire safety design across a range of projects, from universities to high-rise towers, coordinating with Facades, Acoustics and Structures while presenting to authorities and the Fire Service.

You will be guided toward professional registration via IFE and other bodies, with a bespoke development programme including technical training and chartership support. A hybrid work model is available across UK offices.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng or MSc in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Must have experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
• This role can be based from any of our UK major offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire safety design on multiple projects.
• Coordinate with Facades, Acoustics and Structures.
• Present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.
• Support the design team with safety improvements and recommendations.
