Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Fire Engineer to work on a mix of projects across the UK, from universities in Scotland to high-rise towers in London, combining innovative design with fire safety. You will review design information, liaise with Facades, Acoustics and Structures, and present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.

You'll be guided toward chartered status through a bespoke development programme, with opportunities to grow professionally within a global engineering

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience within fire engineering consulting.
• This role can be based from any of our UK major offices.

Responsibilities

• Review design information and liaise with Facades, Acoustics and Structures.
• Present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.
• Help inform the design team about changes to increase fire safety.
