Job Description
- Financial Strategy & Planning - Develop and implement financial strategies, budgeting, and forecasting to support business growth.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance - Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Cost Control & Profitability Analysis - Monitor expenses, analyse cost structures, and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
- Risk Management & Internal Controls - Establish and maintain strong internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Cash Flow & Working Capital Management - Oversee cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure financial stability.
- Business Partnering - Collaborate with senior management and operational teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Audit & Tax Compliance - Coordinate with external auditors, manage tax filings, and ensure adherence to financial policies.
- Team Leadership & Development - Manage and mentor finance teams, fostering professional growth and efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified or QBE accountant
- Manufacturing or construction experience
- Strong systems knowledge, ideally Sage
- Ambition to grow and develop into an FD role
- Team management & leadership experience
What's on Offer
- Salary circa £60,000-£80,000 dependent on experience
- Flexible start & finish times
- Ideally this will be 100% office based
- Quick succession to FD role
