A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Financial Analyst for a hybrid position based in Daventry. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in a financial analysis role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports and assisting with budgeting processes. Strong Excel skills are essential. This temporary position will run until April 2027.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Financial Analyst role in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Intermediate level of professional experience in financial analysis is required.
  • Progress towards CPA, CMA, CA, or similar qualification is preferred.

Overview

We're currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our client's team in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a reputable organisation in the manufacturing sector, with the role expected to run until April 2027.

This is a hybrid position, with 3 days per week working onsite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare complex financial reports and analysis to support decision-making
  • Assist with monthly book closing activities
  • Develop and monitor annual budgets and staffing/expense forecasts
  • Provide detailed variance analysis, cost breakdowns, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Financial Analyst role within a production or manufacturing environment
Strong Excel skills - including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
Excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organised and methodical approach with attention to detail

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Progress towards CPA, CMA, CA, or similar qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Intermediate level of professional experience in financial analysis is required

You will be working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with a November start.
