Job summary

A growing manufacturing SME is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the finance function including management accounts, bank reconciliations, and payroll. The ideal candidate will have ACCA/CIMA or QBE qualifications with experience in an owner-managed SME, preferably within manufacturing. The role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to implement new procedures. Competitive salary up to £50,000 plus benefits, based in Hyde, England.

Your new company
Your new company are an owner managed manufacturing SME. They've been established for over 20+ years and due to another year of impressive growth, they've recently opened a second manufacturing site in Greater Manchester.

Responsibilities
  • In the role of Finance Manager you will manage all aspects of the finance function, including production of the management accounts, bank reconciliations, currency transactions, payroll and VAT returns.
  • You will manage a small but efficient finance team of 2.
  • The successful candidate will play a keen part in the future strategic decisions of the business.
Requirements
  • ACCA/CIMA or QBE with experience working within an owner-managed SME; manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • You will have a very hands-on approach to accounting and be willing to go above and beyond to get the job done.
  • Management of other office duties outside of finance would be advantageous.
