Base pay range

We are currently partnering with a reputable not for profit organisation based in East Coventry (near M6/M69 junction) who are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant on an initial 2 – 3 month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.

The role is a part-time position (20 hours per week) paying £16.50 - £16.91 umbrella per hour, and is due to start as soon as possible. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be required in the office, with Wednesdays working from home.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Inputting invoices, expense claims, and credit notes into the purchase ledger
  • Processing cash book transactions
  • Dealing with other financial transactions that require processing
  • Maintaining purchase order processing in line with budget
  • Checking invoices and expense claims to ensure goods have correct POs
  • Resolving any PO and payment queries
  • Inputting new suppliers

Experience required:

  • Strong working experience of Excel
  • Confident working with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
