Job Opportunity: Finance Assistant

We are partnering with a reputable not-for-profit organization based in East Coventry (near M6/M69 junction). They are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant on an initial 2–3 month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.

The role is part-time (20 hours per week), paying £16.50 - £16.91 per hour (umbrella). The position is due to start as soon as possible. The schedule requires working in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with Wednesdays working from home.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Inputting invoices, expense claims, and credit notes into the purchase ledger
  • Processing cash book transactions
  • Handling other financial transactions requiring processing
  • Maintaining purchase order processing aligned with the budget
  • Checking invoices and expense claims to ensure goods have correct POs
  • Resolving PO and payment queries
  • Inputting new suppliers
Experience required:
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Confidence working with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
