Job summary

Thames Water is looking for a Network Service Technician in Enfield to help maintain and resolve issues across the North London clean water network, keeping customer supply disruption to a minimum.

This field-based role combines customer service with technical problem-solving and network maintenance. You’ll operate mains, own queries, drive the company van, and work 38 hours per week with occasional late shifts.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong customer service experience in a dynamic environment.
• IT literacy and good time management.
• Positive attitude and a can-do approach.
• Plumbing, water mains, or leakage experience (extra qualifications).

Responsibilities

• Operate and isolate water mains for planned or emergency works.
• Own and resolve customer queries and complaints.
• Support project work and leakage detection activities.
• Investigate and resolve network performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and water quality standards.
