Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic is seeking a Technical Service Trainee to support the installation and service of soft drinks equipment at customer sites across the North East. You will work with an experienced technician to deliver high-quality service and build strong customer relationships.

The role provides comprehensive training, a 6-month fixed-term contract, and a competitive benefits package including medical, pension and bonus schemes.

Qualifications

• A customer-focused approach with a genuine interest in helping people.
• Good practical, hands-on skills and confidence working with equipment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• An interest or background in DIY, maintenance or other practical/technical work would be advantageous.
• Previous technical experience is not essential, as comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support Technical Service Representatives with the installation of soft drinks dispense equipment across a variety of customer locations.
• Deliver high-quality technical service and ensure installations are completed to the required standards.
• Provide an excellent customer experience and create a positive first impression.
• Educate customers on equipment use, food hygiene responsibilities and basic fault diagnosis.
• Help maximise equipment uptime and minimise service calls following installation.
• Build positive relationships with customers and provide a professional and helpful service.
• Work independently and manage day-to-day activities effectively.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.
