Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic is seeking a Technical Service Trainee for a 6-month fixed-term contract covering the Yorkshire region. The role is field-based, full-time, Monday to Friday, with training and support provided.

You will assist in installing soft drinks equipment at customer sites across Yorkshire (Leeds) and deliver high-quality technical service while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. No prior technical experience is required as comprehensive training is provided; a full UK driving

Qualifications

• Valid full manual UK driving licence is required.
• Customer-focused approach with a genuine desire to help.
• Good practical, hands-on skills and confidence with equipment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Interest or background in DIY or practical/technical work is advantageous.
• Previous technical experience is not essential; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support Technical Service Representatives with installation of soft drinks dispense equipment at customer locations.
• Deliver high-quality technical service and ensure installations meet required standards.
• Provide excellent customer experience and create a positive first impression.
• Educate customers on equipment use, hygiene responsibilities and basic fault diagnosis.
• Help maximise equipment uptime and minimise service calls after installation.
• Build positive relationships with customers and provide professional service.
• Work independently and manage day-to-day activities effectively.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to quality standards.
