Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a Field Service Team Lead to oversee installations for clients across the UK from Manchester. You will lead a small team of Field Service Technicians, coordinate on-site tasks, install and configure camera hardware, and ensure safety and quality standards during night-time visits.

This six-month fixed-term contract requires a valid UK driver’s license and willingness to travel. The role is on-site with 30 hours per week and potential extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• Proven field technician with leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing installations and coordinating technicians.
• Willingness to work overnight and travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of Field Service Technicians on site, allocating tasks and ensuring installations run to plan and schedule.
• Install camera hardware: mount, connect and configure per company standards and supervise the team.
• Conduct pre-installation checks to identify issues before installation begins.
• Be the primary customer contact on site, resolve issues to meet SLAs.
• Review completed installations for quality before handover.
• Maintain records of installation activities using company tools.
• Attend and lead night installations as required.
• Train and mentor team members to develop skills.
