Job summary

Focal Systems is expanding its field operations in Leeds and West Yorkshire and seeks a Field Service Team Lead to supervise on-site installations, including overnight work. You will lead a small team of technicians, install and configure camera hardware, and ensure tasks meet plan and quality KPIs.

This 6‑month fixed-term contract requires a valid UK driving licence, willingness to travel to client sites, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

Proven field service or installation experience, with leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
Strong leadership and motivational skills to guide a small team under time pressure.
Technically adept at diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues.
Proficient in using power tools and installation equipment.
Committed to safety protocols and quality standards during installations.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate a team of Field Service Technicians on site, allocating tasks and ensuring installations run to plan and schedule.
Install and configure camera hardware according to company standards and supervise the team doing the same.
Conduct pre-installation site checks to identify issues before installation.
Act as primary customer point of contact on site and resolve issues to meet SLAs.
