Job summary

Focal Systems invites an experienced Field Service Team Lead to supervise installations across Lancashire, UK. You will lead a small team of technicians on-site, install camera hardware, perform pre‑install checks, and ensure projects meet quality standards while coordinating with customers.

You will manage night installations, maintain records, and mentor team members. A valid UK driving licence and willingness to work irregular hours are required.

Qualifications

• Proven field service technician experience, preferably with leadership responsibility.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to diagnose hardware/software issues.
• Proficiency with power tools and installation equipment.
• Excellent communication with supervisors, clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of Field Service Technicians on site and in installations.
• Install, mount, connect and configure camera hardware according to standards.
• Conduct pre-installation site checks and briefings to identify potential issues.
• Serve as primary on-site customer contact, escalating issues to meet SLAs.
• Sign off on installations to ensure quality before handover.
• Maintain installation records across the team using company tools.
• Attend and lead night installations as required.
• Enforce safety protocols and mentor new team members.
