Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a Field Service Team Lead in the UK to oversee overnight installations at customer sites. You will lead a small team of Field Service Technicians, ensuring installations meet plan, quality standards, and SLAs.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on installation skills with power tools, and the ability to work nights and weekends. The position is a 6-month contract at 30 hours per week, with travel to sites and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a small field team.
• Strong troubleshooting and hardware/software diagnosis.
• Ability to work overnight and travel to sites.
• Valid UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of Field Service Technicians on site.
• Install, mount, connect and configure camera hardware per standards.
• Conduct pre-installation site checks and briefings.
• Be the primary on-site contact and ensure SLAs are met.
• Review completed installations and sign off to handover.
• Maintain records of activities, parts, and time spent.
• Onboard and train new team members; support existing staff.
• Enforce safety protocols and meet KPIs.
