Job summary

Apogee Corporation Limited. is searching for a Field Service IT Technician located in Chester to join its Managed Desktop Services team. You will support customers by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining laptops and desktop systems in a hands-on technical role.

This position offers the option of a three-month contract with a chance of permanence, or immediate permanent employment. You will work between onsite visits and remote support to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth system operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in laptop or PC hardware repair or IT support.
• Strong understanding of hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows essential, macOS or Linux beneficial).
• Experience using diagnostic tools and fault‑finding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software faults across laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems including Windows and other common platforms.
• Supporting users onsite and remotely, providing clear and practical guidance.
