Job summary

TOMRA is recruiting Field Service Engineers to support the deployment and maintenance of recycling technology across the UK. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on work, and customer service at client sites, with opportunities to learn and grow within a collaborative team.

As an early-career engineer, you will diagnose, repair and optimise equipment, travel regionally, and contribute to a growing business ahead of future UK initiatives.

Qualifications

• Foundation in electro-mechanical systems and related maintenance
• Customer-focused approach with clear communication
• Willingness to travel regionally and work at multiple sites

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at customer sites
• Support installation, commissioning, and rollout of new machines across the UK
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform preventative and reactive maintenance
• Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts, providing professional service
• Travel throughout the region to support customers, occasionally overnight
• Record service activities and machine status using digital systems
• Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold high safety standards
